Diggerland Devon a few weeks back. It’s perfect for a hands-on experience that the whole family will enjoy. If you are looking for fun outdoorsy type day’s out, Nicola from Travelling with Boys recommends heading over to Fairy Glen in West Lancashire. Looking at her pin, it’s a fun day out to explore in the woodlands. Jennifer from Mighty Mama Bear suggests visiting the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge if you are in Northern Ireland. This does sound exciting for kids to explore with picturesque views that show on Jennifer’s pin.
I’m a fan of visiting country parks and gardens, the kids can let off steam and you can take in the pretty sights. Katie from Mum of 2 point 5 shares her thoughts on Rushmere Country Park, a 400 acre site made up of woodland, heathland, and lakes. Katie’s pin photo shows a fun side to the place with the signpost, the colours used are typical of a woodland park.
Now if you are in Cheshire, Kim over at OddHog has a round up post of things to do in Cheshire. Her pin is branded with Kim’s colour scheme and includes a large photo of one of the day’s out. It’s simple and effective for Pinterest.
Budgeting over the Summer is something many of us need to do. It can be expensive paying to get into places for a few hours. But if you are in the Poole area of Dorset, Kirsty from The Money Saving Mum has a brilliant guide for free or cheap things to do in this area. Kirsty’s pin is more about the text than the actual picture on the pin. Her clever use of fonts make this eye-catching and want you to click.
Crafts are an easy way to keep the children occupied in the holidays. You can use things around the home, so it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. Kate over at Crafts on Sea has this great little activity with paper plates. Her pin is bright and Summery and shows you the finished craft.
Becca from Pears and Chocolate Sauce has a lovely roundup of activities to try this Summer. I particularly like the idea of creating your own puppet show. Becca’s pin shows a few of the activities that look fun and she brands her pin with the logo. Of course if it’s really hot, check out Kelly’s fun activities to cool down this Summer from My Silly Mummy.
I wish you and your family a fantastic Summer.
