How Bollywood Parents Are Dealing With Self Quarantine

Bollywood Parents Are Dealing

Amidst the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown, social distancing and self-quarantine have become our new normal. Empty streets, fresh air, and some quality family time are probably some of the few things that we can be thankful for at such a devastating time. With kids being homeschooled and elders working from home, parents are looking for new ways to engage and spend time with their little munchkins. And our B-town parents are no different. Let’s take a look at how Bollywood parents are dealing with self-quarantine:

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are proud parents to two kids, Misha and Zain Kapoor. The usually private parents recently gave a glimpse of how they are coping with the current situation. Mira took to Instagram and posted on her Instagram stories how she and her little angel Misha are spending time with each other. In the story, we can see Misha learning some new English words in her notebook. The proud mom captioned the pic as ” Yeahhh we can do this #coolmomchronicles”. It was followed by another story which read “And then they also peeled potatoes” with a sticker that says “Staying home”. Looks like the mom and daughter are making the most of this time.

“How do I keep my child occupied?!” is the million dollar question playing on every parent’s mind right now🤯. This ‘unplanned’ break has to be endured, since it can’t be cured. We try planning a few hours of interesting activities in a day for our kids, but what do you do when you hear, “Mommy, I’m bored!!” and you DON’T want to give them the iPad!🤦🏽‍♀ Take it from me, tearing your hair out isn’t going to help as much as you’d think it would🤯😖 You have to put on your thinking caps, aiming to make the most of this time together. So, you invent, innovate, and come up with something as it’s a DO OR “DYE” situation.. that’ll keep them busy and you happy😅. Today’s bonding session with Viaan happened with some tie-&-dye activity at home ❤🧿, with a special appearance by Simba!🐈 (Who nearly got her tail dyed😂🤣) By the way, the t-shirts we’re wearing were also made during one of our previous sessions. How are you keeping up with your kids’ daily activities? Let me know and do share ideas with me. This was great fun. A must try. Things required: • A pair of gloves • White t-shirt • Permanent safe colour (dye) Method: 1. Twist and tie the t-shirts with rubber band at a 3-inch distance 2. Pour the colour, keep it in the sun for 12/20 hrs, and open🎉 #EveryDayIsSonDay #staysafe #stayhome #creativity #mommyandson #SwasthRahoMastRaho

Ekta Kapoor also posted a quarantine pic with her son Ravie Kapoor. The woman behind most of the Hindi TV serials and the creative head of Balaji Telefilms Limited previously revealed in one of her posts that she is an outdoorsy person but is practicing self-isolation to stay safe. In her recently shared post, Ekta can be seen hugging her little munchkin from behind and wrote: ” True love is beyond logic.”

We hope that with celebrities posting pics about self-quarantine and staying safe, more people will follow suit and finally begin to understand the gravity of the situation.
